The evening meal was exceptional and the English breakfast also got top marks! The room was very comfortable with some excellent features, such as the wonderful bath in the very spacious lounge, the wood burner fire and a cafetiere. The floorboards creak (as they should do in a near 500 year old building!!) but the beds...

'Fantastische locatie, zeer vriendelijke eigenaren. Goede tips over de omgeving gekregen. Goede uitvalsbasis voor de fossielenjacht in Lyme Regis e.o. Eten in de pub was prima, ontbijt fantastisch.'

'Exeter heeft aangename binnenstad met als hoogtepunt de St. Peter's cathedral. Zowel de Noord- als de zuidkust van Devon zijn per trein en bus snel te bereiken.'

'De kamer is prima, de badkamer eveneens (met fijne producten). Prima: waterkoker met thee en koffie, melk en koekjes en elke dag een flesje water. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid, nu met yoghurtjes en fruit naast cereals en eigerecht (tomaten, worstje, bacon, champignons)naar keuze, toast. Het restaurant is best druk want het eten is heerlijk, de bar erg gezellig. 's Avonds door de drukke bar soms moeilijk parkeren.'

'Our stay at the Cridford Inn was absolutely fantastic. From the room, the staff, the restaurant (we tried the medieval recipes and they were great), the bar and the fabulous breakfast. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. The area offers a vast number of walks on the beautiful Moor. '
