'This was a very old historical building in as good of a shape as it could be. Some uneven floors and a lot of steps to get to your room. It was small and quiet charming. The staff was pleasant and helpful. A bus stop was right out the side. Very pleasant. The bed was nice, no air conditioning, but it was fairly cool when we went in August, 2026. They had a fan. We are from Florida so the low 70's was a joy for us for August.'

'When I arrived the property was closed and had been for over a year despite my money being taken and messages being sent to me about my stay up to the day before. I had to find alternative accommodation at the last minute. The property should be removed from the Expedia site. Poor management and very inconvenient.'

'Classic British experience - love the pub and inn together - that way, you don't need much in the rooms themselves, cause you are downstairs having a drink , great food and a chat with other travelers - really was a brilliant experience.'

'Kamer op zich niet onaardig, maar aan straatkant aan drukke straat, dus lawaaiig. Maar het vervelendste was dat telkens als je water gebruikte (wastafel, wc of douche) de leiding of de afvoer een echt verschrikkelijk kabaal maakte! Ik ben bang dat dat bij alle kamers het geval was, hoewel we het niet van alle kamers hoorden, gelukkig.'

People in the other rooms were really noisy until 1 am and started again at 8'
