'Evening meal was good quality but breakfast is basic. Make sure you have a key to access the pub after hours!'

'The lady who checked in was so lovely, even took us to our room. Every member of staff asks if you need help finding anything and direct you to were you need to be. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast included in the room stay was 10/10.'

'Great stay, friendly staff'

'Room was clean but very cold couldn’t get the underfloor heating to work Breakfast was disappointing plate was oily eggs were overcooked beans were cold as if the were straight out of the tin as was the mushroom and tomato sausages ,bacon ,black pudding and hash brown were lukewarm and didn’t come with toast or fried bread'

'Heerlijk bed, prima kamer. Beetje gedateerd, maar dat maakte het verblijf er niet minder om. Prima (Engels) ontbijt, verser kon niet. Alleen jammer dat de vloer over de hele benedenverdieping plakte…'

'We had a great stay'

'I was pleasantly surprised at the high quality and spaciousness of my room (10). Staff were friendly and professional; the assistant at breakfast was first rate in supporting a substantial number of guests. And the Craster kippers were excellent. The one thing missing at breakfast was a bowl of fresh fruit. Dinner was well prepared and presented. All in all a very good experience at the Duke of W.'

'Goed hotel Lkkr uit de drukte '

'Staf not really available: were zitting in office on smartphones when we were waiting at desk.'

'Zeer gedateerd en een kamer boven de bar waar een feestje is helpt ook niet '

'Mooie authentieke pub, met goed eten, leuke bediening en vooral behulpzaam en gezellig'

'Diddn't use parking or spa but hotel was very convenient for the city centre. Dining room a bit cold. Excellent choice at breakfast and evening meals tasty.'

'No gym!'

'B&B in klassiek landhuis buitenaf. Vriendelijk personeel. Klassiek ingerichte gehorige kamers met weinig comfort. '
