'Sharon is a wonderful host! We walked into serene spa music and this set the tone for our entire stay. This property is right in the middle of Amish country. Many of the neighbors are Amish! The Cottage was impressively stocked with everything from massage devices to aromatherapy. Every detailed felt intentional and warm. The landscape is picture perfect and the property is a short drive away from most of the best spots to visit. My boyfriend and I felt at peace and relaxed after our stay. '

'Very nice and serene property! It had everything my best friend and I needed to enjoy our stay there. It was too hot to get in the hot tub, but maybe next time! We would definitely recommend it to others. '

'Lovely property in downtown Kennett Square. Plenty of room and comfortable furniture. Bath has been updated beautifully. It is important to note that the loft is accessed by a steep ladder. The ladder appears to be very sturdy, but could be challenging for someone with mobility issues. Lots of places to walk the dog. We will stay here again!'

'It was close to the Sight & Sound theater and the Country Kettle Kitchen stores. The swimming pool and hot tub were very nice, but it should be noted that they are shared with the family and other guests. '

'Do yourself a favor and stay at the cottage! We had a wonderful time in this beautiful, peaceful setting. There was a welcome basket to greet us when we arrived and communication with the owners was excellent. We enjoyed the backyard and deck while watching the bunnies and fireflies. We could hear the buggies passing on the main road and see them from a distance. We visited the farmers market close by and ate at Dienner’s Country Restaurant buffet. Our stay was short but we spent time exploring...

'Our mini get away was perfect. The boat house was clean and comfy, overlooking the creek and nature. We went kayaking not to far, and barbecued by the creek. Bed was comfy, plenty linen. Hosts kept checking in if all was good. 5 stars'

'Beautiful space; it's clear how much the owners put into the design and layout they created, including the pool. Peaceful! And they were so quick to respond to my messages, coming to shock the pool for us and even sending me a screenshot of the shampoo/conditioner that I'd loved! The only thing I think is worth mentioning is that the upstairs room did get hot. We were there on hot days...but I needed to keep the AC on 65 to really cool the space up there. 'My family and I (husband, me, 4 kids ages 6-13) had a wonderful time in Lancaster! This house was in the perfect location to go explore and do the different things we wanted. The house is cute and quaint. It was the perfect size for our family of 6. Two bedrooms upstairs and one bedroom downstairs. One bathroom. Spacious kitchen and dining area. We were able to relax in the evenings. It is close to the road so you do hear cars and Amish buggies go by in the evening. That was unexpected but...

'The hideaway is a lovely house nestled on a shared property with a beautiful cottage. The view of the creek from the large picture window is beautiful and the perfect backdrop to sit and read. The house is immaculate and provides all the luxury needed for a short relaxing stay. The view of the cornfields across from the porch takes you back to days gone by. '

'A quaint get-away in the heart of horse country.Our host , Chris, had everything we could need and was flexible with our schedule and communicative. He provided great books explaining the history of the estate, and a very helpful list of nearby attractions. "We arrived less than an hour before the official check-in. With all our luggage. The room was not ready, ok. But we could not leave our luggage behind for the remaining 45 minutes. So everything back in the car… Breakfast offers enough options and is fine. Dinner and shopping options at the doorstep, very convinient. Clean room. We got a room facing Hwy 30, which turned out to be quote noisy. A large a/c or generator grille next to the window did the rest. Off course we could have asked for another room, but when you already have settled after a long day travel, not so fine. So all together, we think it is over-rated and overpriced. Not a bad hotel, but room for improvement. "
