« The house could be lovely. It was the perfect size for our family and within walking distance of chester. However it was not clean at all. Bedding was ok but the kitchen was grim. The washing up liquid had run out and the kitchen light was not working, i contacyed the host who was quick to respond and happily fixed the light and supplied the washing liquid. But we had to wash all glasses, crockery, cutlery and utensils as they either had food, dust or grim on them. Some cleaning had taken place...

« Lightfoot house is a lovely compact 1 bedroom property. Very well decorated and very clean. Thank you for supplying all of the essentials needed for our trip. The location was very good, a 20 minute stroll along the canal gets you into the city centre. The suburb of Hoole is a short walk away also, with a good selection of pubs and restaurants. Parking is a great bonus with the car park behind the property. All in all, a very enjoyable short stay. We would definitely use again when we return to...
