'Have stayed at The Green 💚 Lodge in Hoylake...3 times. Always felt comfy...and have got to know it's staff. Breakfasts are 👍...and you can avail of slightly different...to usual Full English. 2 cousins joined me for evenings meals...my last evening..we sat in the window alcove in Dining room...the waitor was very friendly and polite. JOHN PARKINSON...retired journalist..'

'As a couple we really enjoyed our one night stay. Evening meal was superb and breakfast just as good. Staff helpful and friendly. Puddings are awesome ☺️'

'The rooms are very comfortable, interestingly decorated, and well equipped with plug outlets, etc. Only negative is that meal service ends at 8pm in the restaurant, and road traffic can be a bit loud (if you are sensitive).'

'Pros: lovely breakfast, nice aspect to the room and comfortable bed. Staff are delightful Cons: bathroom is a little tired - mildew and taps not fully working - but workable. '

'Location is great. Hote Is basic as reflected in price as well as reviews. Restaurant at hotel was terribly understaffed - only one chef. Took an hour and 20 mins for food to arrive. Secondly, there was no daily cleaning or towel change and was not mentioned clearly.'
