« The house itself is nice but when we arrived there was a lot of rubbish around the house. The kitchen lacked glasses, cutlery, pots and pans. We bought glasses ourselves and the rest was brought after two days. The WiFi was not working and consequently the TV didn't go either. A new WiFi was dropped at the house after five (!) days which we installed ourselves but the TV still didn't work. At one day somebody stood in front of the house and wanted to show it to somebody who was interested to buy...

« Spacious cosy well equipped property, comfortable beds, great showers. Steam train at bottom of garden which was fun. Could do with an instruction booklet in the house ( as although instruction videos good) couldn’t work out how to turn on fire in large sitting room. »

« We loved this home! It has so much charm. It is old, yet was updated in a way that doesn’t change the vibe. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and we enjoyed the goodie bag! I wish we could have stayed longer. »

« A very cosy and comfortable stay at this little gem of a place. Very clean, warm and right in the heart of town. Stairs to bedroom a little challenging for one senior, but okay for the stay. »

« The cottage is just as listed. Remodeled in 2020 and kept all the old cottage charm with new appliances and fixtures. Great location in Winchcombe and the manager communicated well and provided a great reference notebook on the property and Winchcombe area. »

« Perfectly located and charming Upper Slaughter cottage within walking distance to Lords of the Manor, Lower Slaughter and Bourton-on-the-Water. Clean, modern bathrooms and kitchen and a lovely garden out back for al fresco dining. We had three adults and one teen and there were plenty beds - twin beds are best for children. Appreciated the nespresso machine and pods, too. »

« Our Son lives in Cheltenham,so used VRBO to find a place that would allow our 2 small dogs .This property fitted our requirements not far from the town with it's great shops & loads of Cafes and restraunts ,also a good park near by to walk dogs with a lovely cafe in it.The property is comfortable and has everything you need for a relaxing stay.The garden has a small patio and a table plus chairs so can eat outside on good days .There is also a decking area higher up that gets the sun from...

« The property is lovely, spacious, and located in a beautiful area. The hosts were friendly and communicative, the property was well equipped, and it was way to get to Cirencester and Gloucester from there. »

« We had a great stay in Serra's flat. First, before we arrived and even before we booked the place, Serra was always very available, answering all our messages within a few hours (often within the next few minutes!). She was very clear and made us feel very welcome in many ways. The apartment is ideally located, within walking distance from the centre of the town, from parks, -- and from a great pub. « First of all, I would like to say, I wasn't happy the fact that I have to pay extra for the liability insurance, it isn't mentioned when I was looking at Hotel.com, not even in the small print, and then they send me an email ( messages) for the next steps of booking, because the booking in not refundable, I have to accept all the booking instructions, secondly, the pictures they advertised on Hotel.com, looks amazing, in fact look massive, ( as they put it, "entire home") but it is actually...

« Winchcombe is a beautiful small town. There is much to see and do without leaving the town. There are several great pubs and restaurants although our personal favourites were the Lion Inn and the Indian Restaurant (5 stars to both).
