Hotelresorts in Central San Diego

'Not a very smooth check in, they couldn’t find our reservation linked from Expedia. Felt like we were treated poorly because we booked through Expedia. We are in La Jolla for business quite a bit and have stayed in a few of the nicer hotels, all booked through Expedia, but this was the first Hilton stay, and it was a lot less seamless than some of our other stays near by.'

'We had a room on the 8th floor which was spacious and clean. We did have some airco noise and weird knocking noise from the elevator shaft (we think) which was annoying at night. Pool was nice and location was good for watersports and running. Restaurant has great staff but menu is limited. The gym was crowded in the morning but really quiet in afternoon.'

'Thought it was a great place. I think expensive for the age of the property. Barefoot bar breakfast was 70 bucks for greasy ice cold breakfast.'
