'This bed and breakfast is breathtaking. The gardens, the waterfall, the beautiful walk in the garden are all serene. Chris the host was a pleasure. The food was amazing. If you need to get out of the city, this is the place to go to unwind.'

'We booked the Lakeside room, which apparently most of the rooms are Lakeside. Bed was not that comfortable. Room not that clean. Breakfast buffet was a letdown. My first bite of scrambled egg had eggshell in it. Coffee was mud. Not accessible with my I don’t disabled husband. We were relieved to leave.'

'Affordable, clean and nice'

'Way overpriced; C$ 221.20 for a room without airconditioning. Temp in room reached 26 degrees Celsius. Then while taking a shower I noticed the small shampoo and shower gel were used and almost empty. Sad but true. At check-in the receptionist had a hard time counting the (partly) cash I paid with. Also a hard time to deduct the cash from the invoice and charge the rest to my MasterCards. The hotel itself has its charmes but is way overpriced. Guess it’s the new reality. '

'The 4 of us has dinner at the hotel pub. My wings were raw, not cooked. The other meals were not the best. They were running out of beer and only had 3 selections. The said they would take the wings off the bill, but did not. Had to hang around for a new bill. Not a very good experience'
