'One of a few beautiful iconic historic resorts left in Ontario. Only 58 rooms and personal touches ... not a huge hotel. Excellent dinner and location. Large pool and great selection of free activities like shuffle board and volley ball. Minor point ... shower curtain needs to be washed to remove mildew smell. Long covered porch with many outside dining tables. Would have been nice if more of this are was used for traditional lounge chairs to relax and read or talk on hot or rainy days.'

'The house and amenities are decorated is a simple cozy style, very well maintained. It was a fantastic experience for me and my wife. The house is beside a 60km bicycle and walking trail. Close to everything.'

'No bedside table or any table to put sleep apnea machine on. No outlet to plug it in. No dresser no closet to hang anything. Fell through the bed...slats not attached. Sheets would not stay on bed.'

'We stayed in the Dome and had a fantastic weekend. The Dome is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Harsha our host went out of her way to make our stay as pleasant and special as possible. The hotel is in a beautiful location near lots of nice restaurants and hiking trails. As a bonus lots of very tame deer like to walk around the hotel which is great for photo opportunities. We will definitely return here!'

'This is a nice place for a gettaway and if you have kids even better. The beach is very nice. Not crowed and the water is sublime. You can wade out 100 feet or more and the water is at your waste or lower. The Kayaks and Canoes are nice to have. I went out most days in a Kayak. The staff are mainly young students but they are very nice and attentive. The pool is ok nothing special but great for kids. For seniors or those with mobility issues you might want to think twice about this...
