B&B in Central North Dakota

'Absolutely horrible hotel experience. The room we originally got was dirty, and still had glue-on lashes from the previous guests sitting on our table beside the dirty coffee pot. The floors were filthy and not vacuumed - so I went and asked for a clean room. The next room they gave us was even worse. It had a horrible chemical smell, which I tried to ignore and thought maybe they cleaned this room really well and that’s why it smelled. NOPE. The bathroom floor was so sticky, my husband wiped it...

'The first room was so hot we couldn’t stand it. No maintenance around. Moved to another room. Smelled like a dogs bed. Lifted up the fitted sheet and it was full of dog or cat hair. The phone didn’t work so had to run down to the receptionist each time to talk to them. They brought new sheets but not the right size and no new mattress pad. Had to walk back to reception desk to ask for right size. Had to just put sheets on bed as they no other mattress pads there. Be hard to go back there again....

'⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an outstanding stay at the Hampton Inn in Minot. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and exactly what I needed, but what really made this stay exceptional was the staff. Every employee I interacted with was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure guests had a great experience. 'I felt badly for the staff. I wasn’t greeted by a person and had to make a call just to get checked in. The employee was nice, but clearly overworked and stressed because she was all alone at peak check in time. I’m sure guests got frustrated with the lack of staff and likely take it out on her. Greedy corporation. I won’t stay there again.'

'The staff was very rude, the room was torn apart in places, I'm assuming it was paint splatter on the walls in the bathroom, although the color of splatter was nowhere in the room or the hotel that I ever saw, cracked tiles in the bathroom.'
