'When i got to my room there was a wasp in the window. I went to the desk and asked if they would take care of it. They were going to switch my ro i said no thats ok i was just wanting it removed. Im allergic to them so the staff came and kindly removed it for me.'

'The room was clean and lovely. I love it.'

'The woman at the front desk, who was actually lounging on the couch when I arrived, was not at all friendly and extremely difficult to understand. She was not at all welcoming. Not suited for a first point of contact at a hotel.'

'The hotel is undergoing a rennovation. Dust everywhere. The staff is not properly trained to navigate the situation in the hotel. Our room had a leak in the ceiling that was dripping onto the carpet, a refrigerator that did not work, linens that did not match-each bed was different, baseball trading cards in the bag that housed the dryer, and staff at the front desk who were not trained to handle these situations when approached by them. Would not stay here again until the rennovation is...

'This is the only hotel in mount vernon so you don't have another option if you want to be near cornell college campus. A couple of things to point out are....they do not have any gf breakfast options other then scrambeled eggs and those are not always good,so plan ahead. The rooms are not always really clean,as mine didnt look like it had been vacuumed during my very recent stay. The on-site washer and dryer are old and do not run efficiently. The staff are always pleasant however.'
