'It was my very first time in a guest house. They did have exceeded my expectations. Despite of my horrible rudeness due to ebookers unprofessionalism combined with terrible migraine they did remain polite and extremely professional. It is a luxury guest house. It’s beautiful, quit, clean, fresh, peaceful and perfume smells incredible. They do have a good attention to detail but unfortunately the pillows weren’t fresh. '

'Magnifique maison, décorée avec beaucoup de goût, espaces spacieux, chambres et salles de bains ravissantes. Propreté irréprochable et un accueil chaleureux de la part d hôtes aux petits soins. Espaces extérieurs (jardin, piscine) extrêmement agréables le tout dans un quartier calme et proche du centre ville. A refaire absolument. '

'Hotel is op loopafstand van de zee, station, busstation, markt, .... en rustig gelegen in een goede buurt. Kwalitatief goed ontbijt in een kleine ontbijtruimte (maar stoort niet). Wel hadden we wat last om warm water te krijgen uit de douche, het duurde soms erg lang. Wij hadden al bij al een goed verlof'

'I loved absolutely everything about this hotel. The location is central. The decor is beautiful and chic. The bed was so comfortable and the shower was large and had such great water pressure. But the reason I will keep coming back to this hotel is the service- which was above an beyond. Mara greeted up with such kindness and warmth, and immediately helped us make both lunch and dinner reservations. She and Marta even shared their favorite restaurants and sites in Lisbon, which is where we...

'Mooie tuin, grote kamer met grote ramen en uitzicht op de mooie tuin en zwembad (16), een dubbele douche in de kamer zelf, lekker ontbijt. Je kan er fietsen huren, wij zijn ermee naar Guincho beach gereden. Het is er rustig, en alles in Cascais op wandelafstand.'

'So many things are noteworthy, if not unique, to Chalet Ficalho... The garden, with its beautiful centenary trees, the family history, the wines, the breakfast cakes, the friendly staff, the cracker-loving dog... and, of course, the owners! It is very conveniently located, just an easy walk to the bustling center of Cascais, with its plethora of restaurants, and an almost as easy (except for the blazing sun!) walk to some of the famous attractions like Boca do Inferno and the lighthouse further...

'nothing like what expedia has the property described as . "waterfront" - no where near. "Situated on the boardwalk" no where near. One hand towel provided for 2 people and extra charges advertised for extra towlels/change within 3 days. Needed maintenance. The door had large gaps around, didn't lock properly. Shower curtain was filthy along the bottom. Outside areas run down and needed some cleaning & painting . double the usual nightly rate for Tom Jones concert but really wasn't worth...

'The owner was very kind and quite helpful. The dog who ran around the garden was quite well educated. He didn't come into the house, but was laying infront of the door as our guard. There could be two more big cups and small bowls.'

'Il contesto della struttura è sicuramente originale sia per gli arredamenti sia per l'ambientazione stravagante, ma la pulizia lascia molto a desiderare. L'acqua della piscina(inutilizzabile) è di colore marrone, colazione scarsa e di basso livello. La struttura ha bisogno di parecchia manutenzione. Peccato!!!'

'I had a lovely stay, room was nice, cosy, clean, staff were nice and helpful, we had WiFi the whole time, breakfast was good, only thing I would add to breakfast is to have sweetener as well as sugar, in the room, I would make a bigger shower but I do understand it’s an old building and things cost money, I would definitely stay there again and the view was magnificent!!'

'Een mooi sfeervol hotel met ruime appartementen. Fijn zwembad met met zonneterrassen, lunchterras en bar. Locatie hotel in groene villawijk op loopafstand van treinstation (Lissabon- Cascais), strand en leuke restaurants. Prima bevallen door ons (2 75 ers).'
