'This place and Karen as a host was all we could dream of. We felt so taken care of both before, during and after our stay. A wonderful easterbasket met us at the kitchen table when we arrived, and we so enjoined a few days of fealing at home in this cozy cabin by the fireplace, at the porch with a look to the river or while cocking in the well equiped kitchen - if we ever come back to Vancouver Island, this will be the place to stay'

'So clean, cosy and quiet! We didn't use the well equipped kitchen, except the coffee pot, but we loved the washer/dryer combo as we were halfway through our trip and needed clean clothes. What a treat.'

'Adorable heritage cottage that has family pride all over it! The cabin is quaint, cute and very well appointed with all that is needed for a home away from home. The care that goes into this older cabin is obvious. We were very comfortable and had complete privacy during our stay. Loved it and would certain recommend AND book again. 'We enjoyed a beautiful week's vacation at Margaret's cabin on Savary Island. Communication with Margaret was clear and easy. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a great week's vacation. The cabin is centrally located with several beaches within close proximity on foot or bike. 'The cabin itself is adorable and very comfortable but there were a few issues. Pros: Comfortable beds, sweet interior design, well stocked (except for induction stove compatible pots and pans - see ‘cons’ below.) Close to shops, restaurants, ferry, and short drive to many attractions. Dogs are allowed! Netflix available (make sure you know your password!) 'Great location, close to beautiful walks along the water, the wharf, and to the CR Museum, where there are fabulous, well-done exhibits detailing the history of the area. The place was well-appointed, private, clean, & comfy. We'd definitely choose this place again.'

'The entire house is well equipped and with the fireplace at the beach just perfect. Restaurants, shopping centers are close to the house ( Walmart (5min drive). Since the hosts are living near the house you will get all answers to your questions or even recommendations for local activities. Great location-you have to stay here if you want the best in town.'
