Pensions in Browns Island

'The breakfast was included and complimentary coffee and tea.'

'Everything was great! The breakfast was outstanding and Jeff kept everything well stocked. He was very positive and took pride in what he was doing. The only negative was that the bottom sheet in the bed felt like sandpaper and that was identified to the front desk at checkout.'

'Parking is disastrous. Plan on using the valet service at $15 a day so you don’t have to walk down the road to park your car and retrieve it. Management should plan to pave the grass out front. Other than that and broken ice machine very nice stay and good restaurant.'

'we had 3rd floor room w/window seat. Wow factor hits when entering room, large, very clean, well appointed, plus that view of water plus docked boats. Breakfast process is unique, you order by phone and staff brings it to your room, A short written explanation of the entire process would be welcome, ex can you order a bagel IF you order a muffin (yes), what types of bagels are there, coffee came in a pot not a cup, which worked out great, but we did not know that until it appeared. etc. Website...

'My husband and I really enjoyed our anniversary getaway to Beaufort and staying at this hotel was a big part of that! Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. The room and the common areas were very clean. We had very restful nights of sleep.'

'Prima basis hotel met ontbijt'

'Mooi gelegen hotel langs onze roadtrip aan de oostkust. We waren met drie personen en hadden een kamer met dubbele bedden geboekt. De kamer zelf was boven verwachting ruim en compleet. Wat wel tegenviel was de staat van de bank, daar zakte je half doorheen, en de vloer was plakkerig en vochtig. Mogelijk iets met de aurco of overnatig zeepgebruik bij schoonmaken. Helaas iets waar we pas achter kwamen nadat we ons hadden gesettled. Omdat we maar één nacht bleven hebben we dit door de vingers...

'Room was clean'

'Basically ok, nothing fancy. They were suites but absolutely nothing provided utensils wise.'

'bed sheets were a bit stained and found a cockroach crawling by the headboard'

'We went to this resort for my husband's birthday and brought our dog. The accommodations were wonderful. We enjoyed walking along the beach, the heated pool and several local restaurants that were delicious. We will be back!'

'We had a great stay! The room was newly renovated, and I believe we were either the first guests to stay in it or very close to it. Everything was extremely clean and looked just like the pictures. The location was great with easy, close access to the beach. 🌊 The hotel is still under construction, so not all of the hotel or amenities are available yet. Right now, it’s basically just the room, but that didn’t bother us for our stay. Once everything is finished, I think this is going to be an...

'Great place for a few days due to the small size. Needs a small dinner table.'

'Great spot outside of the main tourist area! Perfect for a couple looking to get away for a long weekend. Kitchen has everything you need to make an easy meal and there's a washer/dryer in case you need to do laundry.'

'Pros: The location to get to Cape Lookout for and early morning ferry was excellent and it was super quiet each night. Comfy beds and plenty of parking. Cons: The house had a strong old smoke smell throughout the house. Additionally there are areas in the floor that are super soft indicating rot. Everything was very worn (sheets, furniture covers, towels). Salt, pepper, coffee grounds, and a bottle of mac'n'cheese were literally the only things stocked in the kitchen. We were were super...
