'Excellent overall'

'Stay overall is always good. Just seem to find hair in the bathroom, put down the bath mat and two long black hairs were on it. Definitely not mine….that said, I enjoy the convenience of it. I do wish they would have coffee in the rooms though. '

'We stayed at Our Valley View Bed & Breakfast for two nights over the Civic holiday long weekend and it was an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and relaxed. The room was spotless, with a comfortable queen bed and rustic decor. Everything felt thoughtfully arranged. The homemade breakfasts were a highlight — freshly baked muffins, fruit from the garden, delicious farm fresh eggs, fresh brewed coffee, toast and raw honey from their own bee hives and local apple...

'The staff tries hard so give them a chance they try to get things right. The hotel is dated but they make the most, with what they have. '

'Rose keeps a lovely property and is incredibly welcoming :-) She prepared us a fantastic breakfast in the morning. We spent the night in her gorgeous Suite Room on the second floor, which was quiet, beautifully appointed, and spotlessly clean. Will definitely stay again next time we visit Port Hope. Highly recommended. '
