'This is a true hidden gem in Montevideo; nice small boutique hotel with just 6 rooms, managed by Caroline and her team which are very nice, helpfull and dedicated to make your stay great! Location was also perfect; walking distance from Carrasco beach and the mini-town center with all shops and restaurants you need. Amazing attention to detail in this small private space of heaven, we loved it!'

'Staff were friendly and keen to help. Room was bright, clean, bed was comfy, air-conditioning worked. Location was pretty good for Carmelo proper - just off the centre, with easy access for everything from bus station to some of the best food in town. Not so good was the limited front-desk hours which meant having to plan to arrive within a two-hour window. Also the bikes for rent could be in better shape (and not all built for six-foot-tall riders).'

'St Michel ist eigentlich ein Landhotel..zum Wellness Hotel besteht zwar der Anfang einer Infrastruktur, aber insgesamt macht das Hotel einen unfertigen und etwas ungepflegten Eindruck. Die Suite ist ein eher kleines und einfaches Zimmer, während die De-Luxe Suite tatsächlich dem Anspruch entspricht. Die Suite ist zu teuer, De-Luxe entspricht dem Preisniveau. Obwohl das Hotel leer war, bekamen wir keinen Upgrade in die De-Luxe Suite.'

'Comfortable and luxury hotel to relax a few days. Unfortunately the breakfast was very poor (not a Four Seasons worth) and the prices in the restaurant are too high. Swimmingpool is fabulous, a friendly staff.'
