« Compared to the Z Hotel in Holborn (which was ok), this one was stellar! The staff was very warm and lovely, my room was so nice with a lovely view on Bath, what a treat! I preferred the bathroom there. It was smaller than the one in Holborn but better organised with a proper door on the shower. Modern, lovely and well located hotel (even though I had an issue finding it using Google Maps!, it’s actually nestled between the Five Guys and the Lane 7 - don’t worry you can’t smell any fried food...

« I arrived after booking a room for 3 adults - a double and a single beds. Staff helpful but stated we could have choice of a newly renovated room or one we had booked. I asked to see both rooms first as outside of hotel looked terribly run down. He then proceeded to tell us rooms were actually down the road, visited rooms and renovated room only had a pull out sofa that looked extremely small for an adult so accepted other room. Parking was limited in a run down alley, room had limited Seaview...

« We booked a city view room that was one of the 6 with 3 full windows. It was well worth it! Bed and room comfy and well appointed. The breakfast package was great value! Although there is a lift, some stairs to rooms as well. It is a grand old building. Onsite parking at 15 GDP per night was also well worth it. Get there early enough to grab a spot. The Hotel is up a steep hill to the city, but bus outside to Bath centre if required. Local places to eat nearby down the hill including the great...

« The public areas are excellent and inviting. Thank you for the constant supply of cold water fountains during an extreme heatwave. The criticism is for poor HOUSEKEEPING. We stayed 5 nights. Used cups/glasses never collected, room never vacuumed, liquid soap dispensers never replenished, toilet paper almost depleted (we had to ask), bed making just thrown together, our room totally forgotten one day. Seems to be a real lack of staff, training and supervision in this department. »

« Nous passions juste une nuit à Bristol, l'un des points étape de notre road-trip à travers le Pays de Galles jusqu'à Llandudno et retour par la côte direction St Davids. Juste un peu difficile de trouver l'hôtel malgré le GPS en raison du trafic, du manque d'habitude de rouler à gauche et de technique de circulation sur les ronds-points...! Nous préférions diner en ville ; on recommande la pizzeria Franco Marco vers la vieille ville, gérée par une jeune équipe très dynamique. »
