'From the moment we arrived the staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The food was excellent. The lovely dinners made the stay special. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The only negative was that the WiFi in our room was not good and kept dropping off.'

'Lodge Vista 84 needs cleaning as very grubby and dusty, fridge smells and needs defrosting asap oven has no temp marks so you can’t cook anything. Bathroom mouldy and limescale needs addressing!! Hot tub tube like a warm baht overall dilapidated-and in need of refurb sgame the pictures doesn’t show that before you book it!!'

'It's a beautiful old house and nicely located within walking distance of restaurants and pubs. Plenty of parking in the back. The staff are great - friendly and helpful. My only complaint was with the shower controls! After fiddling with them for quite some time, I finally managed to get water at a reasonable temperature to flow from the shower head rather than in the tub, but even now I don't think I could repeat the process.'

'Zeer geschikt hotel voor een romantisch weekend in Sandbanks, de mooiste buurt van Poole. Hotel is modern en comfortabel, zeer statige vertrekken en gemene delen, mooi zwembad, locatie vlak aan water (je ziet zeilboten en ferry's gewoon langs de vensters van bar en restaurant varen). Zeer "British" allemaal. Kamers ruim en voorzien van state-of-the-art sanitair. Jammer genoeg lieten de prijs (wij kregen een "budget"-kamer zonder ramen en vlak boven een lawaaierige binnenkoer met generatoren,...

'We paid extra for a gold room with a sea view, unfortunately it meant we could hear all the evening entertainment in the pub below which went on till late. (We heard every word through the microphone, including bingo and karaoke singing) Unfortunately the hotel staff couldn't do anything about, although they did try. Had we paid less and had a smaller room higher up it probably would have been better which is a shame. But it was great to have the beach so close out the front door. '

'Stayed a couple.of nights in a family room - this had two separate spacious bedrooms, each with their own tea/coffee and TV facilities which was well stocked. Although there wasn't a sea view from our room, the view over swanage and surrounding hills was still lovely and provided some stunning sunsets. The hotel itself was clean and tidy and staff were welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was also well catered, and the beach was a short walk away albeit via a couple of steep routes down the cliff....
