'Beautiful property overall! I recommend planning to stay on site and enjoy the infinity pool, maybe tubing on the river, taking a guided birding walk with an expert guide. Off-site excursions also available. We stayed in a treehouse room that felt private and luxurious. Food and drinks also excellent. We were happy with not purchasing the all-inclusive package; food can be ordered a la carte and not all drinks are included in the package anyway. '

'Wij vonden de Black Orchid een heel prettig hotel aan het einde van onze vakantie. Het is in de buurt van het vliegveld, dus je kan er makkelijk je laatste nacht doorbrengen. Verder zijn er kano's en fietsen die je gratis mag gebruiken om de erg mooie omgeving te verkennen. Wij zijn naar de Baboon Sanctuary gefietst, wat een stevig tochtje was, maar zeer de moeite waard. 'Het is een mooi resort in een fantastische omgeving. Het personeel was heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Het enige nadeel van dit resort is dat het iets verder van het centrum vandaan ligt. Het hotel is een goede uitvalsbasis om de toeristische atracties in de omgeving te kunnen doen.'

'Love the lodge feel and extremely kind and helpful staff. Our family stayed for three nights. Since driving the last mile was a little challenging, we opted to have dinners every night at the Lodge. Great service and wonderful food, but a bit on the pricier side compared to eating in town. We did the ATM excursion through the lodge. Xuanantunich was so close, we opted to drive via our rental and hired a private guide for $50 on-site. We did tubing on-site which was a flat 30-minute walk about...
