Goed centraal gelegen hotel bij Palentor zie foto)
Het hotel ligt pal tegenover de Palentor, poort naar het oude stadsgedeelte, dus mooi centraal. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Grote kamer geschikt voor ons drie. Oudere kamers gerenoveerd naar nieuwere staat. Badkamer is wat klein maar goed te doen. Parkeren voor het hotel is beperkt maar een straat verder hebben ze een gedeelte van een parkeergarage (is niet ver). Goed ontbijt , alles goed verzorgd. Goed centraal hotel om de stad te verkennen.

Prachtig hotel voor onze tussenstop
Mooi hotel voor onze tussenstop richting Italië. Kamer was ruim, keurig, modern en schoon. Voor de hond lagen zelfs een hondenmand, voederbakken en twee snacks klaar. Geweldige binnenkomst! Basel centrum is lekker dichtbij. Ontbijt was keurig verzorgd. We kregen zelfs tickets voor gratis OV aangeboden.

Top hotel zijn geld waard!
Ruime nette kamer op een zeer goede locatie. Gratis pasjes voor het openbaar vervoer inbegrepen. Lekker gevarieerd ontbijt. Aan de buitenkant eerder anoniem hotel maar eens binnenin top!

Het is een wat ouder hotel maar netjes gerenoveerd met prima bedden. De ligging is uitstekend en er zijn fietsen beschikbaar voor de gasten.

prima hotel op goede locatie bij de oude stad
Vanaf dit hotel loop je zo de altstad in. Een prachtige wandeling en alles dichtbij. het hotelpersoneel is erg vriendelijk en professioneel, de sfeer in het hotel warm en gezellig. het enige minpuntje was dat we de kamer vrij warm vonden en dat was niet goed te regelen. het raam moet nl echt dicht blijven vanwege het lawaai van auto's en trams.

Vriendelijk schoon hotel
Prima hotel voor een prima prijs. Wij hebben met 4 volwassenen op een kamer geslapen. Prima bedden. Ook de bedden die van de slaapbank waren gemaakt waren prima om op te slapen. Alles was schoon. Als wij weer naar Basel gaan, gaan we hier zeker terug komen.

This is a very nice hotel, the room is big, very clean. Our room has a window facing one of the old city Gate. In front of this hotel is a Bonacic Garden. The garden is very big. we are very happy to stay in this hotel. Next time if we visit Basel, we will stay here again.

Excellence by the Spalentor Gate
Hotel Spalentor offers a wonderful, well run place to stay in a perfect location for access to the old town or to get to the train station. Old school kind of place wheree they give you a physical key for your room but everything is clean as a whistle.
