Flats in Barnard Castle

'Good restaurant. Just some noice from the pub.'

'Smaakvol ingerichte kamer, badkamer oud en niet schoon. Bed kapot. Jammer, want de kamer is ruim en de mensen heel behulpzaam. Barnard castle is zeker de moeite waard.'

'Unfortunately my wife had fairly bad illness during our stay, through no fault of the hotel, but I would like to praise the staff, especially the night manager for the assistance to transfer my wife to hospital.'

'Location is lovely quiet and picturesque. We were at a wedding close by so only needed the hotel to sleep at, the hotel is a bit in need of a re-furb but very nice staff and the room was fresh and comfortable. The room was clean, bedding and bed were comfortable we did not eat as arrived at 3 dropped bags and headed to wedding.left at 8 in morning Would stay again as we both said apart from corridors and general impression it was a nice nights sleep Plenty parking and nice area for a morning...

'We had a great welcome after walking all day on the Pennine Way. The room was comfortable, clean and met our every need. The evening meal was delicious and ample. We would definitely recommend High Force Hotel.'

'Perfect stay for our holiday, great location for accessing both pennines and dales. House was great, really well kitted out and comfortable. Host was amazing, perfect comms, and immediate replies when we contacted her. Would happily recommend, and stay again if we return to the area.'

'Such a cute and cosy cottage, had everything we needed and was very well situated. thank you.'

'Wonderful cottage in a lovely setting. The owners were very hospitable & the cottage was well equipped & very clean. Overlooking countryside with lots of wildlife around.'

'Clean room'

'A lovely cottage conveniently located within a stone’s throw of the castle and an easy walk of the Bowes Museum.'

'Very friendly and helpful staff and the room was comfortable and clean. We had dinner in the restaurant and couldn't fault the meal.'

'The breakfast was stunning! Beautifully cooked with quality ingredients. '

'Very spacious well equipped cottage situated just off the main street of Barnard Castle right by the parish church. We were able to check in early, which was a big help, and when we arrived we delighted to see how spotlessly clean it was. The beds and furnishing were comfortable and would have no hesitation in reccommending the cottage to our friends and family'
