B&B in Argostoli

'Het hotel is schoon. Het is een hotel gebouwd in 1981. De badkamer is klein, maar dan ook echt klein. De douche te klein om goed te kunnen douchen. Maar verder geen opmerkingen daarover. Het ontbijt genoeg keuze, alleen de koffie is ronduit slecht, oploskoffie. Dat verwacht je niet in een hotel met zo een kamerprijs! '

'Dusty room, we kept the window open the whole day to bring in some fresh air. The lobby and breakfast area are nice although small but in the room itself it looked like time had stood still for 30 years. The only thing that changed was the shower head which no longer fitted in the stand so you had to hold it while the moldy shower curtain stuck to your behind.'

'This place had an excellent location and million dollar view. The host answered all our questions, and was easy to reach. The apartment is well built with great amenities and appliances. The dishwasher was great and worked perfect. Plenty of cookware, utensils, and tableware. The place is perfect. I would not only stay there again but I would recommend it to my friends.'

'The apartment was very clean and close to the port and main square. We didn’t rent a car, but it seemed like there was street parking around. They offered us laundry services, took care of trash, and offered clean linens/towels through out the stay. Very kind host. A/C units worked well. Hot water was good. 'SOLO TRAVELERS BEWARE! Booked a “Sea View” room months ago, I was shown to a room on a lower level with NO SEA VIEW. (See photo with tiny slice of sea circled in RED). When I politely pointed this problem out, I was informed “A larger group had booked the upper apartments, but I was welcome to sit in the garden”. I felt the hosts were dismissive, making a point that I was “Only ONE person”. Given I am not traveling in high season, I was lucky to be able to quickly book an alternative stay...

'The owner and his family are soectacular. Their kindness, friendliness, and help. I can not say enough good about them. Is the hotel an aging beuty. Yes. But the love and care more than make up for drapes that are a bit dated. The room was a one bedroom apartment with a front balcony and back terrace(sea view). Patking is easy. Lots of restaurants to choose from, including the hotel. I look forward to returning(many times)and bringing friends and family. For me, it was that special.'
