'My family and i enjoyed an amazing 4th of July weekend at this beautiful property. It was everything we imagined and more. The pictures do not do it justice. Only downside was the wifi but we hope they upgrade it soon as it would have made the trip prefect. '

'This is a great old-fashioned cabin. The living room is more spacious than the posting shows, and now has a comfy sofa and loveseat. Great location and good sailing lake. Nice birding opportunities. '

'This property and facilities was perfect for our group of five people. Access to the beach was a real plus. The cabin was well maintained, clean, comfortable and had all the space we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and we were plesantly supprised to see how well it was supplied. We definately plan to book this cabin again. Our host was excellent and stayed in touch with us to make sure our stay was great.'

'My group of friends stayed in the cabin for a girls weekend getaway and it was absolutely perfect. The cabin was very clean and had all the ammenities that we needed. The owners were wonderful hosts. They checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed and to see if there were any issues. They even provided information on activities within the area and the river. Highly suggest spending time on the Betsie river, it was beautiful and relaxing, we even enjoyed the canoe.'

'Went with my 2 sisters and mom and we loved the place. Only downside to it was the lack of AC. The weekend we were there was a hot one and while the place provides ceiling and portable fans, only one of the portable fans worked. Luckily we had brought 2 portable fans as well so we were able to cool it off the best we could. Otherwise the place is perfect for a getaway. '

'I attended a summer conference at Crystal and didn't need/want to spend time at the resort other than for the educational sessions. This cabin (one of seven identical ones in a row) was less than a five minute drive down the road from the resort's day-use parking lot and was much less expensive than getting a room at the resort. It is a simple, clean, studio-type cabin with a separate bathroom w stand up shower, a futon/couch, wall mounted TV, WiFi, a small table/desk w two chairs, a window air...

'Perfect for both my kids’ families with two large rooms that include beds for kids and then also a grandparents’ bedroom. Plenty of rooms/outdoor spaces to hang together or do separate activities. Beautifully decorated with everything you could need. Very thoughtful host! And we took advantage of the stocked.com service and had our groceries waiting when we got there! A short drive to Beulah to see Crystal Lake, Benzonia for putt-putt, Elbert or Frankfort (great food everywhere!) or just head...

'My family of 14 stayed here for a week. Great location, great communication with the host, beautiful Betsie River for morning kayak trips.The house was well appointed. Improvements I could suggest are pretty small...a screen on the downstairs bedroom, more hooks for hanging clothes in bedrooms, a clothesline for drying towels. Small things, indeed!We loved staying in David's home. The screened in porch was a favorite! Perfect for a big group.'

'We loved our stay at Weatherwood! It was in a great location for day trips to several locations: Frankfort, Empire, Glen Arbor, Manistee, and Traverse City. The home was a comfortable and relaxing place and had ample space for our group of nine. The kids enjoyed the creek and the hot tub and we all enjoyed the large table for playing games and the screened in porch. The property manager was very responsive. We would definitely stay again!'
