'OK hotel, and for the price (~700MXN) I can't really complain. If I'm passing through the area again I might consider staying here. Check-in was a bit of a hassle as the woman there didn't read my reservation and "forgot" the 2nd room. But that happens with a lot of hotels lately. 'There are many better choices for places to stay in Troncones where the staff and management care about the wellbeing of the guests and the upkeep of the property. 'Fabulous stay at Casa Manzanillo! This place is an absolute gem. Gorgeous grounds, best view from the pool and pretty much every space. The staff is super friendly and takes care of you so well. 'We visited Troncones for our Spring Break trip with 3 of our friends family's. 16 people total, 8 kids, 8 adults (ages 5-10). This part of Mexico is so special and untouched and felt very safe. 'Wonderful, very responsive hosts. One thing that was not totally clear to us until we got there is that all common areas, kitchen, dining, couches, are outdoors (as with most rentals in the area), only the bedrooms are "indoors" with AC. But to open your bedroom and see the gorgeous beach just steps away––wow. That's heaven.'

'This house is pretty awesome. Has all the necessities for a surf trip. In addition, the communication between the property managers is top notch. Wifi is down? Ericka is on it. Ac not working? Roberto is there taking care of it same day. Assuming this house doesn’t get sold, I’ll definitely be coming back here. Note: be respectful of the locals needs. I.e., keep the gate closed, drive slowly, keep a low social media presence, and you’ll have a great time.'
