Nice spacious room, good beds, but blackout curtains were not places well so a lot of light in the room. Bar at night is very nice, breakfast very modest

Nice Access to Downtown
We stayed a couple of nights in Dec 2023. The hotel was nice, there was some noise from the bar downstairs during the night and off the street. You are located right downtown with easy access to restaurants and shopping. There’s not a whole lot of parking access right at the hotel and the parking there is you can pay for in the Parka app.

Easy to find. Parking just outside the hotel. Plenty of eateries and a shopping street itself. Check in was a breeze. Very friendly staff from the Resturant which shared the entry with the hotel. Good room size. Good sound insulation as well. We like everything about this hotel. We would definitely stay again if we visit akureyri.

It was easy to get there from the airport (cab). The restaurant was good, nice food&beer. The bathroom furniture and shower appliance could need some renovation.

Que dire ? Pour un hôtel de passage, ok. Il ne faut pas s’attendre à beaucoup plus. Les chambres sont petites, la TV ne fonctionnait pas et le parking gratuit n’est pas dans la rue (sauf entre 16h et 10h le lendemain) faute de quoi vous devez aller dans un parking excentre. Sans plus.

Wonderful hotel
This is a wonderful hotel. Clean and new. Centrally located. Even have simple kitchen for guests to use, plus a laundry room. Love it. Such a wonderful hotel

A nice location but a very small room
The good first. The Centrum Hotel Akureyri is a small hotel centrally located, with lots of restaurants in the area. Street parking was available (free from 4pm to 10am) and paid after that. The hotel was clean and in good condition, and everything worked. The not so good. Our room was tiny. There was about 2ft of floor space on either side of the bed, and 3 ft at the foot. Nowhere to put our suitcases except on the bed - had to close them up at night. One straight back wooden chair that was in the way. If we had been spending more time in the room, it would have been an issue.

Très joli hôtel sur la rue commerçante Akureyri. La chambre est spacieuse, bien équipée avec une kitchenette ( évier, plaque de cuisson, frigo, vaisselle) Les lits sont confortables et moelleux. Salle de bain spacieuse. Les chambres sont bien insonorisées, bien chauffées. Petit déjeuner buffet dans le restaurant soit inclus dans le tarif ou à payer en supplément. Nous avons également dîner le soir au restaurant, les plats sont bon et copieux.

The apartment was very clean and nice, with kitchenette and big bathroom. Great location right in the center of downtown. It was a little loud at night but due to the location that was pretty expected.
