'Interesting location, on the former air base of McClellan. Area is well maintained and looks beautiful with the flowers. Room was ok, cleanliness could be better and the facilities are outdated. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was disappointing, scrambled eggs were disgusting, and the rest was very basic.'

'The hotel was quite run down, with chipping paint, and trim, bubbles on the ceiling where leaks had happened, a dirty bathtub and a noisy refrigerator that sounded like a running truck.
