'We rode on a motorcycle for 10 hours under constant rain. When we arrived at 10pm, we were soaked. Hot shower was all matters. I am glad the water was very hot. Towels and hair dryer were ready. The room was very clean. They also offer free coffee and some energy bars, which ended up as our dinner. It was a perfect destination for our day.'

'Although we were at Paddler’s Rest briefly, we would return again to enjoy all of the amenities. The private sandy beach, indoor game room, and free use of kayaks and canoes were a huge bonus. The refrigerator in the motel room was sizable. The staff were welcoming and quick to give us dining suggestions.'

'I stayed here by myself to fish Thirteenth Lake. That was a short commute by car. The bite was slow but the lodge was comfortable and well-run. It's remote with no other options for meals nearby. The menu is limited and cocktails are expensive, but the food is good. The summer rate for the room without a view was pretty cheap for the region and amenities. The lodge is part of a property association including private homes that share the dock and beach. Remote but otherwise easy access to I-87....

'Our friend group stayed over the weekend to tour Lake George and Johnsburg. The cabin was immaculate. The host graciously provided snacks, beverages, and several household supplies. They accommodated our every request and they communicated with us in an extremely prompt and warm manner. The highlights included the fire pit, the grill, the deck, the den, and the large living room. We obviously will come back.'
