'We were greeted with a delicious welcome juice and a cold towel. Check in was speedy, bags were promptly delivered to our room and the room itself was spacious, cool and with a nice view. The hotel provides towels for the beach as well as the pool and the breakfast was a good spread with an egg station. All staff were friendly and calm. Coconut tree hill is a very short walk and mirissa beach was 200lrk in a tuk tuk but was also walkable. Would definitely stay again'

'Fijn hotel, we kregen bij aankomst een upgrade naar een hogere verdieping waardoor we prachtig uitzicht hadden over de Oceaan. Het zwembad is heerlijk en heeft ook stoelen met een mooi uitzicht. Daarnaast hadden we zowel ontbijt als diner in het hotel en dit was erg lekker met voldoende keus (was a la carte en geen buffet). 'At the end of our Sri Lanka holiday we decided to spend a bit more on our Unawatuna hotel & were not disappointed. We had large rooms with loads of space, kitchen, really comfy beds, excellent views from our balconies. The staff were helpful & the pool lovely. We did book nicer rooms that some there & didn't eat so can't comment on the food. It's a bit of a walk or a short Tuk Tuk ride to the main tourist area or a beach but that also means it's quiet there.'

'Great hotel in a fantastic location in nature but not far from the beaches. The view is amazing and palm trees with monkeys jumping around is just beautiful. The infinity pool offers nice views and and the hotel area is small. The food was excellent. The chef was very helpful in finding gluten free options and the food was delicious. Highly recommend a stop at this place. '
