'Hotel staff was great. Nuria was very informative on local activities and getting us to where we wanted to go. We were able to get to a viewing site for the Matterhorn thanks to her help. Room was large and comfortable. Bathroom and shower were nice and spacious. One of the few hotels that I actually didn't want to leave, because I was comfortable there. '

'Absolutely beautiful hotel in the heart of Zermatt. It took six minutes to walk to the hotel from the train station and the location is perfect. You are in the heart of the shopping/dining district in Zermatt. The staff went out of their way to provide excellent customer service and the room was very spacious with modern amenities. 'Comparable to any 5 star resort on this planet in terms of service and cleanliness. The staff was AMAZING. First free drinks, then a tour of the facility. This hotel should teach a master class on service and staff loyalty. Every employee is friendly and eager to serve. I can't recommend Hotel Matthiol enough. I wish they had locations in every city because I'd book them exclusively from here on.'

'I had a fantastic stay at the rex. I was blown away by the morning breakfast spread from local sources, including their in house bakery. Additionally, their spa center (indoor pool, 3 saunas, hot tub, etc) was perfect after a day of skiing. 'Have no regret to booked myself a solo trip for 2 nights in this marvellous hotel. Great front desk staffs at welcoming. Room is clean and comfortable with nice Mountain View. Perfect location with less than 150m from the train station and surrounded with lots of shops. Hotel facilities (gym, swimming pool, sauna, steam room) are great especially on the rainy which I could not do much activities out door. Well, if the opening time for these facilities can be extended till 10pm, will be better....
