'Excellent customer service!! Everyone at the hotel are super helpful and supportive. My mom stayed at the hotel for 8 nights, she needed assistance with ordering transportation, bringing her breakfast to the table, opening doors. She has a broken leg and is forced to use a walker. Every person at the hotel helped her with a smile. Beautiful people! Thank you! I would also like to mention the ease of booking and paying for the hotel. A lot of hotels in the area would not accept remote payments...

'Everything was perfect. Great selection of breakfast, rooms are clean and big enough, fast room service, gym was fine and people are very friendly at the reception. This hotel is my all time favorite in Almaty and would defiantly recommend this hotel with European standards. One remark, try to get a room on the back side of the building as the street side can be a little noisy for sensitive sleepers.'

'prima hotel, met een keurige service. Vanwege de doorreis geen gebruik gemaakt van de terras en zwembad-faciliteit, maar ontbijt was uitstekend (beetje simple, maar gewoon goed). Op iets van ee kwartier auto-afstand van Almaty-airport. Wel de hotel-transfer regelen (gaat makkelijk met e email) anders loop je in de taxi-taxi-taxi-fuik in de aankomsthal. Direct naast het hotel busverbindingen (ook weer naar het vliegveld) en markt.'

'We booked a one BR Apartment for a family of 4 including 2 kids (5 yo). The apartment and the bathroom was spacious and fully equipped. The sofa bed in the living room converted to a pull out bed (unfortunately it is the most uncomfortable bed for 2). The location of the hotel is excellent, with 2 minutes walk to the famous Arbat Street. There are plenty of supermarkets around, with a huge Magnum store just across the road in Lumier building. '

'The Plaza Hotel is a decent place to stay in Almaty. The rooms are clean, well equipped and comfortable. The breakfast is good but not amazing but as it’s a buffet I’m sure there’s plenty there to satisfy everyone. It’s not the most central hotel but the area around is safe and the river makes orientating yourself in the city quite easy. Get Yandex Go the ex-Soviet equivalent of Uber and getting around costs next to nothing and is very quick and efficient. Would I stay here again? Absolutely!...

Im Restaurant möchten wir besonders das Engagement von Zhanna hervorheben, sie versteht es Menschen schon am morgen zu begeistern, außerdem spricht sie sehr gut Englisch und Tschechisch, was vor allem meine Frau verblüffte. Auch der Conciergeservice war sehr gut und Sabina eine sehr gute Hilfe.'
