'On arrival at Waterside Hotel, found the car park was mostly filled with work vans, so wondered if it was the right choice for a couple, but on entering we found the staff friendly and helpful, the room was basic but clean, the TV was set on the dressing table blocking the mirror. Breakfast in the morning was really good, with a great choice and tasty well cooked hot food and good speedy service, so good value overall.'

'Great location overviewing the town and great sea view. The room was what you expect for the price. I had a single room with half on-suite, which means shower in the room, but toilet in the hall. That was good enough for me, but people may want to have more privacy. Room could do with a renovation. Staff was super friendly and helpfull and the full Scottish breakfast can't be beaten. And the sea view makes it even better. All in all a great deal for a quaint hotel. I would certainly come...

'OMG! You have to stay here! Anne & Dougie are extremely welcoming and attentive hosts. The Yurt we stayed in was so clean, comfortable and warm which was needed as it was freezing outside - the hot tub was needed! The cabin had everything we needed in it. The communal room was very well laid out with lots of entertainment for all ages. The location was perfect for a relaxing break and we will definitely be coming back!! Cannot recommend enough, the quality of the whole site is excellent!'

'Cottage had everything you may need. Small welcome pack with tea/coffee/sugar/milk and shortbread for your arrival. Off road parking was a bonus. Chip shop within walking distance which was also an ice cream shop, post office and sold some groceries. Wonderful beach within walking distance too.'
