'The fixtures and fittings were in very poor shape especially in the living area and the bathroom. We had to be very careful using old electrical appliances and avoiding falls. On the positive side, the room was large, the beds were comfortable and the bed linen was fresh and clean. Fresh bath towels were provided every day. Breakfast and occasional meals were satisfactory.'

'Wow!! Winnies B&B became my home away from home. The place is so neat, tidy, clean and so comfortable. The owner was just so hospitable, warm and kind- pretty much a mom. Nothing was ever stolen or missing and felt so comfortable leaving my stuff when leaving. The staff cleaned up after us and even did our washing so that when we came back we could just relax. On our first day we were so busy we couldnt stop for dinner but the owner asked us if we had eaten and prepared some traditional tongan...

'Do not expect luxury here. The accomodation is very basic, but reasonably clean. It has a good fridge, and a working shower. The WiFi is horrible: the signal in the room is weak/absent, and even when standing on top of the router it is most of the time impossible to do something simple like apping a picture. Breakfast was nice (especially the pancakes!). During my stay the room was not serviced, apparently the staff thought I did not want that. The owner did apologize for that (on my last day)...

'I didn't get what I expected in booking a deluxe king room. The air condition didn't work, the TV didn't work, cupboards were broken, there was no mini bar stock in the fridge, no tea/coffee supplies, only the kettle. We were moved to a standard room and still the air con didn't work. The towels were not replenish the whole time we were there.'

'This was a last minute booking made when our preferred booking was cancelled, after being confirmed more than three months earlier, apparently due to overbooking???
