« It was good, just the AC was hot, and it might be small for a whole apartment, but we slept in the living room close to the AC, and that improved everything. Other than that, it was amazing! »

« The house was absolutely amazing. All ten of us had plenty of space. The view was stunning. The only thing I can say that was misleading was the references to proximity to locations in Kailua- Kona in the listing. It turns out we much preferred it’s true location up the hill away from the bustle of town. It was so beautiful. I am glad it was not a short walk to Taco Bell as stated in the listing. »

« I had such a lovely time staying at this property.The place looked exactly like the photos, thoughtfully arranged. All the listed amenities were exactly as described - made my stay so much convenient. Bed was very comfortable and room was clean and well-maintained. A big thank you to the owner for the warm hospitality and making my stay in Kona Big Island so enjoyable! »

« Our stay at the Ocean Tower was very relaxing. We had a room on the 8th floor overlooking the golf course. The room was very quiet. We were able to take wonderful excursions into the surrounding area and spend the afternoons by the pool again. »

We usually stay in the busier central areas, but I loved (actually preferred) how tucked-away Puako was —a true escape to peace and quiet. « Great spot, super comfortable and yes, it does have mini split AC units in the living room and the bedroom, which were very appreciated in the August heat. (Recent addition, photos haven't been updated yet.) It was so nice to have soft coolers and a beach wagon available. If you're searching for the beach chairs, they are in a locker in the trash chute area by the elevator on the 3rd floor -- door isn't locked, just pull (why didn't I think of that, haha). »

« We had a great stay at a beautiful property. The Beach Club pass and experience was phenomenal!!! Only concern we had was the main floor bedroom was considerable hotter than the rest of the house. We had to run the box fan to make sleeping possible. Second time at the Fairways, will definitely be back to this complex! »
