Pigeon Island: Strandvakanties

Marigot Beach Club is mij tegen gevallen. Het eten was erg slecht, daarmee bedoel ik het ochtend ontbijt. S'avonds viel ook het warm-eten heel. ik probeerde lokaal voedsel te eten, zelf dat viel tegen. Na het avondeten kreeg ik de rekening, dit was vrij-prijzig het was het helemaal niet ward. Na dag 6 op het resort werd mij gevraagd of de kamer gedaan kon worden, ik schrok, waarom werd mij dat gevraagd, dat hoort bij de service van het resort. Ik kreeg last van vlooien op mijn hele lichaam. Er waren 2 zwerfkatten op terrein die tijdens het ontbijt en warm-eten de toerits5en lastig vielen. S'avond sliepen de katten op de stoelen waar de toeriten opzaten, dit was niet mist dat ik onder de vlooien zat. Het personeel deed helemaal niets, en de katten werden niet van het resort verwijderd.

The photos do not do this property justice. It was maintained to perfection and the staff was available for whatever requests you had. I felt safe the entire time and there were plenty of offsite excursions as well as just staying in to enjoy the view from your room. There was plenty to do on the property alone, from hiking to morning yoga to visiting the spa or just reading a book in the treehouse or a hammock. Food at the restaurant was excellent and there was plenty to choose from at breakfast. The menu for dinner rotated every couple days and we had the opportunity to try other restaurants in the area. We are definitely going to return to the property again.

The resort was nice but I didn't get there & say oh my gosh this is amazing or this is paradise. Open air lobby very cool. Nice vibe. Staff all very nice. Close to airport but secluded location. Need a service to go anywhere and far from any towns (1+ hrs).Views from 2-4 floor amazing. Resort might be too big, Beach bar and beach activity center too far of a walk away from the main lobby. Nothing is communicated very well. People don't participate in activities cause they don't announce them. It's on the weekly print out they hand you at check in & on a TV scrolling but they need to announce them before they begin so people are aware & they need more activities. Rooms nice size for 4 adults. Balcony is a plus and no wind on balcony which is nice. Farm door for bathroom horrible. It needs to close completely and lock. Resort  needs to better advertise room has only 1 American outlet & to bring an adapter. Or they should at least sell the adapters. Beds are comfortable. Rooms are quiet. Housekeeping is great. Rooms need more hooks to hang stuff. Vendor sales on Tues/Sat great additions. Great island feel. It's is constantly windy so you will never look nice hair wise. It's also incredibly humid. Everything feels damp all the time. The cushions to the chairs in the lobby, your room, your clothes. Nothing ever dries. The pools are nice.  Lazy river nice touch. The beach is non existent. Small & lots of seaweed & not really wide. Not a carribean beach for sure its on the Atlantic

Our family had the most amazing vacation! We traveled with our four teenagers and our 7-year-old, and every one of us had an unforgettable experience. Our villa was beautiful and the perfect place for our family to relax and spend time together. The resort offered so many wonderful amenities that there was truly something for everyone. One of the biggest surprises was the kids club. We hadn't planned on using it, but our 7-year-old absolutely loved it and couldn't wait to go back each day. The staff made her feel so comfortable, welcomed, and cared for, which gave us complete peace of mind. It quickly became one of the highlights of our trip. I have never stayed at a resort that was so impeccably maintained and spotless. Every area of the property from the grounds to the restaurants, pools, and our villa was exceptionally clean. The attention to detail was evident everywhere and truly set this resort apart. What made our stay even more special was the incredible staff. I honestly can't say enough about them. Every single person we encountered was genuinely warm, friendly, and eager to help. It seemed like each staff member was even kinder than the last, and the level of service was outstanding from beginning to end. This was one of the best family vacations we've ever taken, and we are already talking about coming back. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so memorable. We can't wait to return!
