« Arrived close to closing time and was warmly greeted by publcan, staff and pub regilars. Felt safe and was well fed at breakfast time. Nice to hear other guests talking about their intended visitsof the day. Publican helpful with my additional enquiries and offered suggestions of taxis to get to and from a venue.. Lovely lunch eaten after checking out. Beer Garden well looked after and village was nice to wander around with further walks suggested, if required. The place is cared for. Would go...

« Friendly staff and lovely food.. maybe one of the best steaks ever tasted. Room was large and well equipped. Over looked the beer garden but no noise after 10 so that was fine. Small car park to the rear but ample for the guests. Hoping to stay here again. »

Lower Slaughters is the best place in the Cotswolds, and the Country Inn atmosphere and staff have further contributed to our very relaxing stay there. We planned to go for more visits, but decided to seize the moment and stay a full-day enjoying the place to read, rest, do short walks to Bourton-on-the-water or the next door mill »

« Bedroom beautifully presented. Tea, coffee and water in the room. Comfortable bed. Warm and cosy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar was well stocked good choice of drinks and cocktails. Breakfast, full breakfast included, delicious and lots of choice, eggs benedict, eggs royale etc. Would definitely recommend and stay again. There was a loyalty scheme but they didn't explain it so i have probably lost out on a lot of points. But otherwise excellent. »

« Lovely typical country pub / hotel. Very friendly welcome, room and bathroom were very clean. Good tea / coffee facilities and homemade biscuits were a bonus. Breakfast was excellent, wish we'd had time to taste lunch or dinner as it smelled fab. Next time we are visiting family nearby we will be back. Thank you »
