« The staff in all areas from Reception , bar. restaurant and room staff were all fabulous. It is one of the best coaching inns we have stayed in. Location was central for many of the tourist attractions. Would recommend and will be returning. »

« noise electric clock really unpleasant and impossible to stop inconvenient shower, water runs on the window sill and the floor music from the DJ on Saturday evening really very loud to the point where the floor and the bed were shaking »

« The inn is next to the river ouse in a beautiful area and, by car, is 5 minutes from St. Ives, a very interesting town to visit. To visit Cambridge you can go via various little villages through the countryside avoiding the very crowded A14 - about 40 mins. The room we had was quite small though comfortable with all the usual services. I would recommend asking for a large room on the side away from the kitchen to avoid the noise of the kitchen fan. « I am utterly disgusted that this place is even still open, arrived at 7:50pm and told we had to find food elsewhere as kitchen shuts at 8pm, then was told they were not aware we had a room booked and she would have to call owner to confirm! Said she would call us back while we found something to eat as his phone went to voicemail!!!!! We then get a call to say yes they have made a room up! I then asked if they were aware we had a full English breakfast the next morning… again no they didn’t!!...

« Great staff, very helpful. We were in room 1 which is a clean modern room. You do hear a little traffic noise but not enough that it's an issue. Just watch you don't rest a bare knee on the heated towel rail when you're sat on the toilet! »
