'Very nice place. I would recoment to friends.'

'One word- cockroach. I went to bed around 11:00PM, and I looked up at the ceiling to a bug I had never seen before. I texted my daughter a pic and asked her what it was. It was a cockroach. She said VA was known to have a problem with them. I stood on the bed and banged a book against it, and it fell. I took another picture, to make sure I had identified it. I only stayed one night, and hardly slept at all. I found out that the contact info that the owner shared with me was only texting, when I...

'Clean, quiet, very large and comfortable space.'

'Great resort for kids. Could have some upgrades '

'We had a great experience! The hotel was lovely, and everything was smooth and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it!'

'My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in room 4 overlooking the marina. We also enjoyed eating in the restaurant that evening. The room was excellent, clean and comfortable. We sat out on the balcony and enjoyed the quiet peaceful evening. The meal was excellent and the view of the water made it nice. Our food came out hot and delicious. My only comment would be that the hushpuppies were either undercooked, too dry and not really edible. We asked the waitress about them, and she said...

'We were pleasantly surprised by our spacious and clean condo style room. The property is lovely and well maintained. Very secure and good location for attractions.'

'Change of ownership has made for positive changes. Beds and linens were really nice and it was cleaner than past trips. Location is ideal if you want to walk to the college.'

'Outstanding cleanliness and great and extremely helpful staff. One of the cleanest I’ve stayed in.'

'Prima hotel , netjes schoon verzorgd'

'The picture showed the hot tub still being there but they took the hot tub out and that was the only reason I paid the ridiculous price for one night it’s not worth that much money a night.'

'Room was clean and staff was very helpful!'

'Most of the staff we met were very pleasant, but the checkin person was unhelpful. I was unhappy that the hefty “resort fee” had been hidden in fine print, adding significantly to the cost of the room. When I asked why we were being charged such a fee, the check-in clerk’s reply was “we charge everyone” — not a helpful answer. This encounter left a bad impression on me, and while I like to support Colonial Williamsburg, I won’t stay in one of their hotels again. I also think Expedia should...

'The staff was great and the room was excellent. However we were disappointed in the water park. We couldn't access the hot tubs and the size of the Waterpark was very small and geared for the majority to kids. We've been to two other lodges and this one is by far the smallest and least enjoyable as adults. The assortment of other activities was very nice as well. Lazer tag, rock mining, ice-cream shop and a big arcade. Kids Im sure were having fun. 20 dollars a day to park was a big let down as...
