'Lovely cottage close to town centre. It’s has a private back yard perfect for evening drinks. Nice spacious bedrooms and bathroom. Beautiful view of the abbey from the top floor. Fully equipped kitchen. Owners very helpful. Situated in a quiet street with zone parking (provided) not too far away or a pay and display very close by. This is our second time in Penrith house and I’m sure we’ll be back! '

'Location was hard to find, had to ask someone in a local shop. It is not accessible and up cobbled steps. We had two dogs and a 6 month old in a pram so that was difficult to navigate. The yard space was okay to let the dogs out and there is a gate but it was always being left open by others so if you have dogs who like to run off, this is not good. 'My husband, toddler, and greyhound stayed for three nights in this lovely cottage. It was quiet and cozy, with all the amenities we needed. The location was perfect for accessing the train station and pub. Our dog was also very comfortable—the house did not smell of pets. It had been cleaned very well. '
