'This has been the best BookaBach stay we've had in many years. A beautiful cottage in the middle of the country. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen fully stocked-amazing. The art work, done by the hosts told very real stories which resonated with me. If you're wanting a quiet stay, 25 minutes south of Whangarei, make this your No 1 choice.'

'The cottage was beautiful & well appointed. Generous breakfast foods were supplied. There were books & games & a BBQ & washing machine.The surrounding gardens were beautiful. 'A great secluded spot that we’ll definitely be returning to! It was so peaceful and well maintained. We really enjoyed having a fully functional kitchen and laundry and the bathroom was modern and a great size. Martin welcomed us on arrival farewelled us on departure and was very accommodating as well. Only suggestion is make sure you bring bug spray as the sand flies will get you otherwise. And at night it can get quite hot in summer unless you use the fan like we did in the lounge from early...
