'Motel complex is only partly like a lodge. The other buildings are standard motel like. Cheaply built, too noisy and very small rooms. Also the rooms are out dated. No coffee in room. Price is way too high for what you get.'

'We stayed a night here on our way through the white mountains, our room was the 1 bedroom balcony suite with 2 person jettub. The decor and overall esthetic of the space really exceeded my expectations. However, it could use a good deep cleaning, the windowsills were filled with flies. The entire space and building really felt like home. We plan on coming back for another stay and recommending friends join us. Don't forget to try pollys pancakes parlor right down the road! They have the BEST...

'The hotel is currently being renovated, so the corridor with the elevator is a construction site. Our room had not yet been renovated and made a dated impression. But all necessary facilities were present and working. Nice and helpful staff, especially the cleaners. Of the 5 hotels during our trip through New England, this was the least good.'

'Prima kamers, wat verouderd, maar schoon en ruim. Bezochten de White Mountains in de herfst: veel hotels, restaurants en winkels zijn gesloten. Behalve de ontzettend mooie natuur was er dan ook weinig te beleven.'

'We just LOVE staying here! It's so beautiful and peaceful. Sue and Jeff are the best hosts and we didn't need a thing... That have thought of everything. Such a comfy place to stay!! '

'Bartender Josh was very friendly, the view is outstanding and so is the location. The clam chowder was excellent! The rest of the buffet was very disappointing, especially for the price. The rooms are very outdated and rustic but not in a good way. I would recommend it to friends but would have to warn them about what to expect.'
