'Wow. I could not have dreamed of a better weekend getaway. This was seriously the most beautiful villa. The view from it was picturesque, it looked fake! I would wake up in the morning and just stare at the view. From the grounds of the villa you can see the city center of Volterra, and the greenery surrounding. 'The staff were very friendly and informative, food was great, their own produce was great and the views were amazing. I would love to return in warmer weather when the pool is open. The only downside was being charged €50 cleaning fee. I missed it in the small print when booking. This wasn't a fine for leaving the rooms untidy, this is their standard charge for their 1 bed apartments. We stayed there 1 night and still had the same charge as someone who stays for a week. 'Prachtige accommodatie met unieke ligging. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk, het restaurant is voortreffelijk, het ontbijt biedt alles wat je kan wensen. Heerlijk geslapen en helemaal tot rust gekomen. Voor herhaling vatbaar!'

'Het hotel heeft een heel mooi zwembad en mooie kamers! De weg ernaartoe zouden ze misschien een keertje gelijk kunnen maken, of grote stenen verwijderen. De weg is stijl mer veel kuilen. Het bed was groot! Alleen de kussen hadden geen goede vulling. '

'This is a working winery and while the apartments are somewhat rustic and without air conditioning they provided much of the charm and experience that we were looking for during our stay in Tuscany. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the wines produced by the winery. Natalia and Roberta were especially friendly and helpful. 'Nice and clean room. Great view from the pool, breakfast and dinner. '

'Capanna is echt een prima verblijf, nieuw, schoon en goed ingericht. De kamer is wel vrij sober met maar één stoel en geen koffie- of thee faciliteiten. Wel een mooie koelkast met flesjes water voor ons. De bewegwijzering naar Capanna is zeer slecht. Nergens een bordje met aanduiding bij de onverharde weg die je moet nemen. Google maps vindt het niet. Uiteindelijk is een bewoner van de omgeving ons voorgegaan om geraderd te vinden. Dit moet echt beter !'

'Mariangela, the hostess was so kind and attentive. Sara took care of our rooms and wonderful breakfasts everyday. This property has amazing views of the Siena/Tuscan courtside and an amazing pool that was so beautiful. Had no trouble getting a taxi to explore the area. Can't wait to come visit again!'

"We had a very pleasant stay! The accommodation is beautiful and lies in beautiful surroundings. The personnel was very friendly and helpful. The organised dinners at the hotel were very very good. Sometimes better than nearby restaurants. It was delicious!! Of course, the wines are great too, with the rosé wines as my favourite. My only points of feedback would be that it would be nice that the bar next to the pool is open more hours (as of our stay, it was only open for 1hour between 7 and 8 PM). Some time you just want a nice drink or snack earlier times. Another point I noticed was that the floor in the bedroom was quite dusty upon arrival. I have to say, these 2 points of feedback would not take away my full recommendation for this place. We loved every second of our stay. "
