« The check in was so easy and everything was ready for us to arrive and have a wonderful girls trip & celebrate my sister’s birthday . Jennifer & Mark were amazing and even made a trip to give us more kayaks to enjoy the beautiful lake. I would definitely love to stay at this very scenic & beautiful house again. The only thing I wish I knew as a non swimmer is that the water gets very deep very fast but other than that the place has everything you need to have a beautiful, relaxing stay .. Enjoy...

« We enjoyed swimming, kayaking, reading, hiking, listening to the loons, playing games and watching movies on the one rainy day we had. We especially appreciate that we were able to bring our dog who also had a great time! »

« We have stayed lots of places in midcoast Maine and this was our favorite! It is such a peaceful part of the lake - the stars at night were unbelievable, as was the chorus of loons! We really loving taking the kayaks out. The house is super cute and with a well stocked kitchen, comfortable furniture, and some amenities you don't always find in similar places - we particularly appreciated the well water and washer dryer! « We had a beautiful week in Smithfield. The main house was a great place for our family dinners,for our family of 18. There's everything you need and the beds were super comfortable. The lake was warm but very shallow. Great area for hiking as well. We even went rollerskating next-door. »

« We had a fantastic time at this property! The cottage was cozy and had everything we needed, even coffee. Vince gave us a tour and let us know everything we needed to know when we arrived. The kayaking was amazing. We got so close to bald eagles it was breathtaking, we were simply awed. We saw eagles, osprey, herons and so much wildlife. « Great place, the fenced in area allowed you to enjoy the space and let the dogs run around without any worries! During our stay it was upper 90 to near 100 and we requested an additional ac and they accomadated us with in a few hrs. Elizabeth and Mark are great host and were very responsive to our request. »

« We enjoyed our stay at Regina's camp. The cove is perfect for kayaking or canoeing and the house itself is comfortable and welcoming. We also enjoyed walking along the quiet camp road. Although we did not end up bringing our pet, it has a nice big yard that would be great for anyone traveling with their dog. »

« We had such a relaxing stay at this cabin. The property is incredibly peaceful, and the neighbors are friendly but respectful of privacy. The cabin was clean and well-stocked with essentials like paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, and large towels, which made settling in so easy. It’s a great spot for guests of all ages, and we truly felt at home. We’re already planning to book this cabin again next year! »

« We wanted a place off the beaten path. This was perfect. It is close to all the places around Jefferson and Damariscotta that we love. Great cabin for us »

« Evocative of my youth and going to the family lake camp in the summer. We had great weather and a great time. The cabin is a ‘Mainer’s’ memories wrapped in eclectic reminders. What a joy! »

« Cottage was quaint but with everything one would need for a fun and relaxing week…watercraft, grill, dock for fishing or sitting, comfortable beds, and an air conditioner for the humid days and nights. A loon pair and chick, bald eagle, osprey, heron, and multiple hummingbirds were a treat! Will look to be back next summer!! »
