'A great location from which to see Volterra and San Gimignano. Walking around the citadel and along the river was lots of fun. The main room of the apartment has AC, but it's still warm when the temperature is in the 90s. Having two bathrooms was very convenient. Plenty of space for the family to hang out together. '

Cindy was an amazing host - answering all our questions, providing guidance on places to go and things to see, and helping with those all-important dinner reservations. 'Prachtige beneden appartement bij een kleinschalige recidentie. Rita heeft alles goed voor ons verzorgd en reageerde uitstekend en snel op berichtjes van onze kant! Het huis is heerlijk ruim, voorzien van een fijne keuken waar alles (scherpe messen, Moka, goede pannen etc.) te vinden was. Zwembad heerlijk en prachtig gelegen. Enige puntje voor ons is dat het zo stil was bij het zwembad dat we onze kinderen wel echt heel rustig moesten laten zijn bij het zwembad, omdat we anders scheve blikken...

'Att hitta till hotellet var inte så lätt. Adressen gick inte att få fram vare sig på Google eller GPS. Hotellet ligger mitt ute i bushen. Man måste komma från rätt håll för att se vägskylten( text bara på en sida). Vägen upp till hotellet (700 m) tror man inte varken är körbar eller leder till ett hotell. Vi frågade oss fram ( krävde fyra förfrågningar hos lokalbefolkningen innan vi kom rätt). Telefonnumret till hotellet stämde inte så vi kunde inte heller ringa o fråga om vägen. Väl framme var...

The town itself is absolutely charming, and the location was perfect for exploring the beautiful Tuscan region—easy to reach and well connected. Communication with Paolo was excellent; he was very kind and helpful. We highly recommend this place!'

'Traumhafte Lage inmitten der Weinberge von Certaldo. Das Haus ist vom Ambiente sehr schön, die Küche eher spartanisch ausgestattet, es fehlt ein Ofen und die Küche ist nur begrenzt nutzbar, der Vermieter hat aber sofort auf unsere Nachfragen und Bitten reagiert. Insgesamt ein schönes Retreat.'

'Staying in San Gimignano was an unforgettable experience! The town itself is like no other, with its charm and history, but what truly made the trip special was this place. The views of the farmland are absolutely indescribable—peaceful, breathtaking, and so authentically Tuscan. Elisa, the host, is by far the most hospitable person I’ve ever met. She made me feel genuinely cared for and welcomed, as if I were a part of her family. This really was a home away from home, and I can’t recommend it...

'Nous ne sommes restés qu'une nuit mais l’appartement était parfait et idéalement placé pour visiter la ville. La vue depuis les fenêtres des chambres est magnifique. Un grand merci à Elena pour sa gentillesse et sa réactivité. '

"We had a very pleasant stay! The accommodation is beautiful and lies in beautiful surroundings. The personnel was very friendly and helpful. The organised dinners at the hotel were very very good. Sometimes better than nearby restaurants. It was delicious!! Of course, the wines are great too, with the rosé wines as my favourite. My only points of feedback would be that it would be nice that the bar next to the pool is open more hours (as of our stay, it was only open for 1hour between 7 and 8 PM). Some time you just want a nice drink or snack earlier times. Another point I noticed was that the floor in the bedroom was quite dusty upon arrival. I have to say, these 2 points of feedback would not take away my full recommendation for this place. We loved every second of our stay. "
