'Gorgeous property, we loved all of the animals (dogs, cats, and a baby alpaca). The staff was genuinely kind and helpful in scheduling taxis for us. The courtyard is so nice! The water pressure in the shower was hit or miss, but everything else about this hotel was a hit and we loved staying here.'

'Great service. Location was wonderful. No heater in the room but had good down blankets on the beds. Older rooms but clean. There are common areas to hang out in with others but a 10p noise rule. Allowed us to fill up water bottles with filtered water. The only con I have would be that the reception person told us that they could not use American credit cards and we had to pay in cash. No problem but would have liked to know in advance to ensure we had enough cash. Would stay again.'

'The lady who owns and runs Chabela Host, is quite literally the nicest woman in the world. My room and bathroom were super clean, she gives plenty of blankets, there is hot water with decent water pressure, and she provides a breakfast at your request. I’m only sorry, I couldn’t stay longer. The place is a little hard to find from the street. Upon entrance, you need to walk all the way down to where the street ends and the only option is a left hand turn. Don’t turn! Just knock on the door in...
