'The property is amazing. Only received low score based on accuracy of listing. My cabin was not one that was pictured, however I did still enjoy the cabin and it was cool and comfortable. The pool was…. Not as clear as the pictures. The food from Jack at the bar was 10/10 phenomenal. I recommend the buffet and full English breakfast. The road coming up the hill is a little rough, but manageable. I enjoyed my stay. It was quiet and comfy. Very relaxing.'

'The listing does not show the cabana in question. As we were the only guests at the time, we were given the option of 2 different cabanas neither of which matched the pics in the in listing. The cabana we ended up with had 2 very tiny bedrooms with no place to put our luggage. The washroom needed upgrades as the shower head was hanging on for it's life. The cabana itself smelled extremely musty. The entire property could use repairs and upgrades: toilet seat falling off type of repairs. On the...

'Our family of 5 stayed in two cabins in late December 2023 and had a great time. The cabins were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Each had a porch looking out over fields and the Macal River. Manon was a fantastic host. She gave us great recommendations on places to eat in San Ignacio and things to do in the Cayo Region. The Lodge is down a dirt road that is very bumpy (like most roads in the region) and became very muddy because of the rain so we parked about 1/3 mile from the lodge...

'We arrived at 7:35, it was dark and kinda sketchy. We drove up a really dangerous incline and washboarded dirt road to get to a locked gate and no one answering the phone or a honk. We contacted expedia..aka....a robot....and they proceeded to tell me even though i payed the insurance for this exact reason that the people wouldnt give my money back....and they couldnt contact them yet they leave this ad for this property up. Not ok and wont be using this service again. '
