'Sand Bar Cottage Inn greets you with beautiful gardens, a welcoming front porch and lots of smiles. We made the BEST CHOICE of a place to stay on Bar Harbor. As a airline family, both of us have spent a lot of time in hotels and wanted something different for our Bar Harbor stay. Comfortable beds, clean showers and charmng decor greet every visitor. The owner, Chris, is a delightful person and his personality is shown through the employees, decor and all. Oh, let's not forget the breakfasts! ...

'We loved our stay at the Clefstone! The staff was so kind, helpful, and available for anything you might need. We loved the fresh afternoon snacks after coming back from hiking each day and fresh coffee in the morning. We stayed in room #1 and it was the perfect size with a very comfy bed. Would love to stay here again! '

'Location and parking are great. The morning conversations with owner/ staff were wonderful and informative around a royal dining table, with a healthy scruptious home made breakfast. Bed and linens were royal indeed. The 5 to 6 pm wine cheese n crackers were a nice surprise. Loved to feel pampered.'

'We stayed for 5 days at Elsa's Inn. If you drive its a ways from Acadia NP, but so close to the one side of the park that no one really ever goes to, Schoodic, its so worth being in Peospect Harbor. It's beautiful. Gail and the family are very nice and helpful. Breakfast was delicious! They allow pets (yellow lab), which was awesome.'
