« I really loved this little cabin. It is so serene and peaceful, the hot tub is amazing. It is beautiful and I would recommend it but there are a couple things that would make this cabin to the best of the best. Please have a deep cleaning of the whole cabin done at least monthly... It needs some TLC. Also please invest in a new bed, it's old wore out and so uncomfortable. We barely slept. Thanks for a great weekend. »

« Great cabin! We loved it and so did kids. I fished in stream out back while kids swam. Very close to Desoto park which had zip line, swimming pool, and Indian falls. Went horseback riding right down the road. Saw deer, turkey, and a bear that ran off quickly. »

« So peaceful. It feels like you're basically in a tree house when you're on the back porch. I was even above the clouds one morning - beautiful. Wonderful place to get away from reality and relax for a while. »

« Love all the little art pieces and how cold the house was. I have health issues with heat intolerance so the air units were AMAZING! The guest book was neat to read as well as the article about the dog that travels. Loved being here. Not new to Mentone but just love to come back every now and again. »

« We had never been to this area before. The house was excellent! Had everything we could need and more. Everything was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. The house was only a short drive to waterfalls, hikes, etc. They have thought of everything! We cannot wait to return next year! »

« We had a great time at this place! Our only complaint was that we weren’t expecting it to be so nice! The view is beautiful and the layout of the interior is very cozy! The hot tub and fire pit both contributed nicely to the place being very relaxing! The coffee bar was phenomenal! We were able to make lattes and cappuccinos to sip on the back while watching the sunrise over Valley Head! 10 outa 10 on this place! »

« We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lodge. It was very relaxing and we especially enjoyed spending time on the porches. The views and surroundings were great and we really enjoyed the peacefulness of the property. We all said we would stay there again and wished we did not have to leave when we did. »

« First let me so communication with the host was top notice. Our family enjoyed canoeing/ kayaking in the lake and lots of fun spent around the campfire and hot tub. One of the main attractions is only 7 minutes away and the other is 25. »

« This is the second time my family has stayed at one of these beautiful cabins(we stayed at Valkyrie last visit). Such a relaxing trip to take with my husband & our two teens. We swam everyday in one of the most refreshing rivers on the property. Every evening soaked in the hot tub while listening to most unique bird, Chuck Will's Widow. Ate at the Wildflower Cafe, delish! Hiked down to Desoto Falls & swam a bit. I promise you will not regret booking at any of his properties. We will be...

« This cabin was plenty good sized for our family of eight. Make sure to list the qty of your party as this listing charges extra per person after 2 & only provides towels for the number in your reservation. Beds were very comfortable. We were not there long enough to cook however there appeared to be a good supply of kitchen ware plus they provided soaps etc. This house is located in a loop of homes and there is a little pond to visit if you have time. It is very quiet and secluded at the bottom...
