Blokhutten in Traverse City

'This property is gorgeous: secluded and situated right on the banks of the babbling Boardman River, with lots of yard space and fun outdoor amenities provided by the host. Despite feeling very peaceful and tucked away, the jaunt to Downtown Traverse City was super quick and easy. The decor inside is definitely quirky, but very charming and clearly designed to make the guest feel nestled in a cozy river cabin. We stayed for a weekend Bachelorette trip with 7 women, and it was the perfect place to...

'The cabin was a great place for the family to get away. It is some where we would consider staying again. Between the hot tub and ping pong we had hours of good times!'

'This was an extremely cozy rental. We all really enjoyed movie night in the Family Room. The back patio was great for meals. We especially loved the privacy, as the cabin is set way back from the road. All of us commented on what wonderful and deep sleep states we experienced while at the rental. It was so quiet and peaceful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!'

'Nice location and cabin has everything you need. But it doesn’t have WiFi, the bed is super squeaky and uncomfortable, and a lot of insects get into the cabin.'

'Not many cabins can be rented with a hot tub restaurant and bar nearby. Perfect'

'We loved this place and the management were great to work with! We had a little problem and they responded immediately. The kayaks were so great to have and just sitting on the dock by the river was a dream. Will definitely come back!'

'Great trip looks even better than the pictures too!'

'Cabin was super clean and very well decorated. Landscaping was well maintained and looked beautiful by the lake. Host let us check in early since we were in the area which was very kind of them! Quiet area, a little noise from the main road but nothing crazy or too noticeable. Hot tub was great, perfect temperature and clean. Plenty of blankets and towels for guests. Would absolutely stay here again, short drive to traverse city which is what we came for. Host was also very quick with response...

'Overall, nice cabin but it is on a somewhat busy corner. Nice log cabin with plenty of space and a nice fire pit. '

'Beautiful home in a peaceful setting. Bonfires down by the water, kayaks in the pond. Communication was great with host.'
