« Perfect location! Can't beat it - such a pretty place. On our check in, there was live music so couldn't even get into the pub to check in. Given the rooms are upstairs, an early night was not on the cards. Breakfast was good. »

« Such a gem of a place, tucked in overlooking the sea, I couldn't have been happier with my stay.

« The room was great, the staff very friendly but what was outstanding was the food, what a surprise it was, pub food is normally quite boring in my opinion but this was anything but.
Pork belly mash and the most delicious red cabbage I've ever had and I've travelled a lot and eaten a lot in my travels, this was up there with the best. »

« We didn't make it in time to try the restaurant, but the menu looked great, as was the St Austell beer. We received a very friendly welcome and were shown to our rooms in the annex next door. Everything was spotlessly clean and the room had all we needed. Breakfast was from a great selection and we checked out without issue. Fantastic. »

« What a wonderful place to stay. Lovely little touches make it feel like home. Food was superb, breakfast cooked to order so nice and fresh. Great choice for evenings too. The gardens are awesome. It is a credit to Francesca, Mark and the rest of the staff. We will certainly stay there whenever we are in the area. »
