We had a little bit of hard time finding the property because there was two different house numbers listed (from the website and from the actual paper on the front door).
After getting inside, I didn’t realize just how steep the stairs were. It made it pretty difficult carrying suitcases up and down the stairs.
Once we got into the room, the inside looked a lot different from the photos on the listing. There was only one bed and it was actually a lot smaller than the photos made it seem.
The thing that bothered us the most though was that it reeked of cigarette smoke. It literally smelled as if someone just smoked a whole pack with the windows closed before we got in there.
I reached out to the property managers and didn’t really get a response until I reached out to hotels.com. Both weren’t really helpful. They offered to potentially find another room but nothing came of that. The only solution we got was to have an air freshener delivered. The gross cigarette smoke smell disappeared 2 days later.
